Terms of Service
Last updated: 4 September 2026
These terms cover your use of ReturnLoop. They're written in plain English on purpose. By creating an account you agree to them.
What ReturnLoop does
ReturnLoop is an online service that helps Australian service businesses bring customers back. You add your customers and set up rules, and we send the reminders, follow-ups, rebooking nudges and Google review requests by SMS and email on your behalf, then log what was sent and any replies.
Your account
You need to give accurate details when you sign up and keep them up to date. You're responsible for what happens under your account, including keeping your login secure and making sure anyone you give access to follows these terms. Accounts are for businesses, not individuals under 18.
Your customers' data is your responsibility
You keep ownership of the customer information you add. You confirm that you have the right to hold it and a lawful basis to contact those people about your services, and that you'll honour opt-outs. Every message we send includes a way to opt out — STOP by text, an unsubscribe link by email — and once someone opts out we stop all automated messages to them. You can't switch that off.
Plans, free trial and billing
Every new account starts with a 14 day free trial. A card is required to begin the trial, nothing is charged during it, and we'll remind you 2 days before it ends. Unless you cancel first, your plan starts at the end of the trial and bills monthly in advance.
- Starter — $49 AUD per month (GST included), with 200 SMS included and $0.20 per extra SMS. Email is unlimited.
- Growth — $99 AUD per month (GST included), with 600 SMS included and $0.18 per extra SMS. Email is unlimited.
- Pro — $199 AUD per month (GST included), with 1,500 SMS included and $0.15 per extra SMS. Email is unlimited.
Extra SMS beyond your included allowance are billed separately as usage. Trial accounts are capped at 25 text messages; email keeps working once that cap is reached. Prices may change — we'll give you at least 30 days' notice by email before a change affects you.
Cancelling
You can cancel anytime from your billing page. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for, and we don't provide refunds for part months. Cancelling doesn't delete your data — email us if you'd like it removed.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use ReturnLoop to:
- send spam, bulk marketing to purchased lists, or messages to people who haven't dealt with your business;
- message anyone who has opted out, or try to work around opt-out handling;
- send misleading, offensive, or illegal content;
- break the Spam Act 2003, the Privacy Act 1988, or Australian Consumer Law;
- resell the service, or attempt to break, overload or reverse engineer it.
Availability and paused accounts
We work hard to keep the service running but can't promise it will never be unavailable — maintenance, provider outages and faults happen. We may pause an account if payment fails or if these terms are broken. A paused account keeps its data; automated messages simply stop until it's resolved.
Who owns what
You own your business and customer data. We own ReturnLoop — the software, design and branding — and nothing here transfers that to you. You get the right to use the service while your account is active.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law. Beyond those rights, ReturnLoop is provided as is, and we aren't liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost business or lost data. Where we are liable, our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We also aren't responsible for messages not arriving due to a carrier, provider or handset issue outside our control.
Ending the agreement
You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account if these terms are broken, payment isn't made, or the service is being used in a way that puts others at risk — we'll give notice where it's reasonable to do so.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia, and disputes will be handled in Australian courts.
